何 曉 雯
Hong Kong born, Manchester based. My work explores the psychological states we carry but rarely speak —
longing, stillness, grief, resilience — encoded in the human figure and the
symbolic objects that hold our inner lives. A sacred heart, a crown of thorns,
a sleeping form: each carries emotional weight that crosses cultures and time.
Inspired by her favourite artist Gustav Klimt,
gold becomes both surface and depth — a language for beauty inseparable from longing,
ornament inseparable from emotion.
Art, for me, is a form of connection. Through live portrait drawing,
I meet people face to face — reading their presence, translating something true into line and light.
Every portrait is a small conversation, caught in a moment of golden attention.
